ABOUT ME

I was born in Germany and on coming to England in 1982, I married and had four, now grown up, children. I love living and working in Cornwall.

My professional career began in 2000 with a
3-year study of Shiatsu Therapy, which is based on traditional Chinese medicine. This period of learning had a profound effect on me. It left me with a strong need to pursue a career in complementary medical health care.

I have a passionate interest in health. I respect the efficacy of western medicine though I feel especially inspired and impressed by the philosophy and practise of Oriental medicine. In my personal life I have applied its health philosophy to maximum effect; not just on a physical level. This allows me to come from a 'tried and tested' vantage point when it comes to 'practising what I preach'.

I treat clients from all over the world at Hotel Tresanton in Cornwall. Several  weeks  throughout  the  year  I have great pleasure in assisting Sarah Key, MVO, who is physiotherapist to the royal family. Sarah offers 'Back-in-a-week'  intensive  spinal  therapy  courses, which are held at Hotel Tresanton. Jointly we have worked together in refining a massage which is specifically suited to people with spinal pain. I am delighted with Sarah Key's recent endorsement and evaluation of my professionalism. (http://www.tresanton.com/physio.asp).

I work locally from the Walsingham Clinic in Truro and also from a clinic in St. Erme, Nr. Truro. More recently I have established a clientele in London and from March '09 I will also be working specific  weeks  in Spain  at Hotel  Palacio  Blanco  near  Malaga.
